Analogia nº 3 - Um Dia Cinza no Rio

Just like all our adventures, this one started with the hardest task for all of us: wake up. As we get together in the night before, the preparations and the hang out keep us from sleep early, which makes it so difficult.
Our third adventure rised when Gui decided to follow Deco's steps and buy an analog camera. Then we combined the need of get the camera with the will of perambulate in Rio de Janeiro to get in the car and go.
When we got in Downtown Rio, we couldn't not to breathe all the history and culture that the place provides. So, after pick it up, we went to the Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal, where were happening some sick exibitions. We walked a little more and then, in despite of the bad weather, we decided to go to Arpoador beach. Like it aways is, the vibe there was amazing, and meanwhile Pedro, Deco and Matheus were facing the cold water, Gui was discovering his newer hobby: the photography.

The adventure was planned just a few hours early, when a friend invited us in class and without any thoughts we said yes. The first step was to restore coats, blankets, water, some noodles and soups. From the begining we knew it would be a long and cold night. After a few falls and mistaken trails, we got on the top of Morro da Minhoca. It was wrong who thought that the trail would be the last goal of the night, we still had to light a campfire and pitch the tent! After the search for dry branches and long attempts to light it, we finally made the fire. All was easy after that, just enjoy the view and all the natural beauty God has provided us in the company of friends, with an amazing vibe.

It was the day that all began. It began spiritually, we mean. We had no idea so far that we would create the blog.
We went to Rio de Janeiro to see a debate in PUC (an university located in the Gávea neighbourhood) and took the chance to go to the beach later. So we went first to Recreio, and in the late afternoon we went to Barra da Tijuca. There Gui experienced his first time shooting with an analog camera, such as Pedro, surfing for the first time too. The weather, the calm of the place, the golden hour lights, and many more things made it a very great day and helped we shoot some very nice photos, showing us a new photographic talent in the crew. But sure,we only would find out when the film was developed.
